Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! Today I am going to try something a bit different and link up with Andrea and share a little...

So, let's start with one of my most favorite things of all! Hearing Matt sing! We've been married for four years and I've only seen this happen twice (crazy, right?). I've had people tell me for years how they wish Matt would sing more and they missed it so much. Let me just say, I know why! You thought I was proud when he sang on the Fourth of July, well let me tell you that on Sunday I was in full groupie mode!

Please excuse the blur and tilt in the beginning. He sang during offering and I was looking for my offering envelope while filming. At one point Shelby whispered, "Are you going to start crying?" I could have. It was beautiful!

Oh New Year's Eve we snuck out and did a little shopping. Shelby picked up these amazing Edison bulbs for her bedroom. I love them and am wondering if I should sneak back to World Market for a few more strands (but they are $25 for a strand of 10).  I'll have to share a picture later when she down with this wall.

While we were at World Market I picked up a couple of things for the Downton Abbey premier.

Are you ready for Sunday?!? I am! If you have no clue what I am talking about then you will want to come back to my blog on Sunday so you can read all about my favorite characters and a bit about the story line leading up to Season 5. Then, I hope to have an episode 1 recap on Monday! I can't wait!

Speaking of TV...please tell me that I am not the only one who has become obsessed with Gilmore Girls since it's been on Netflix. I am on season 6. I've even got Shelby addicted. She shed a tear this week when we got word that Edward Herrman passed away. Did you know he was in the original Annie? Yep, and in Lost Boys. I had to go back and look at pictures, but yep I remember him now.

By far this is my favorite picture of the entire week!

To you this may just look like a little girl in a public bathroom, but this is SUCCESS! Bekah had zero accidents for two days and we even had to use the bathroom while at the zoo for Zoo Lights (more pictures on Tuesday). That's a very proud (not the best picture) thumbs up! She's also wearing about three layers of clothes- it was cold in Houston.

Have a great Friday!
