The Happiness Project: A Texas Tradition

I, like most North Texans, see the State Fair of Texas as a love/hate event.

I love the history. I love the sights and the smells and the Fletcher’s corndogs. I love knowing the stories of when my mother went to the fair when she was growing up. I love reliving my memories with my daughter.

This year having Shelby and JAG with me at the fair really made me forget about a lot of the reasons I dislike the fair so much. Shelby had a blast and that is all that really matters, right?

Unfortunately, Leigh has a sick baby and has postponed The Happiness Project for this week, but I decided to continue with my Happiness. Go visit Leigh sometime soon to see other Happy people.
